Finantial support for students of the Master in Physics of the USC University for the academic period 2016-17

The activities of the master will be developed mainly in the Faculty of Physics of USC and in the Galician Institute of Ceramics.

Location of the Faculty of Physics of USC

Location of the Galician Institute of Ceramics

The Galician Institute of Ceramics is about 400 m apart from the Faculty of Physics. In this link (maps.google.com) you can find a map centered on the Institute. It is the building at northwest of the roundabout of Avenida do Mestre Mateo (the rondabout which is closer to Barcelona street).

Residential, Transportation, etc.

The Faculty of Physics is located next to a Residence Hall (Monte da Condesa) and at about 2 kms from the railway station. Several bus lines stop at our faculty.

In this link (www.santiagoturismo.com) the Town Council of Santiago de Compostela provides extensive information (transport, maps, timetables of buses, etc..) to the many visitors the city (about ten million tourists a year.)

Santiago de Compostela has an international airport (Lavacolla, SCQ), mainly connected to the town by taxi. In the neighboring towns of A Coruña (57 km north of the AP-9) and Vigo (92 km south on the same highway) there are also smaller airports.

O Instituto de Cerámica e a Facultade de Física están a uns 400 m de distancia entre sí. Neste link (maps.google.es) podes atopar un mapa centrado no Instituto de Cerámica da USC. O edificio é o que está ao noroeste da rotonda da Avenida do Mestre Mateo (a que está máis preto da rúa Barcelona).

A Facultade de Física está xunto dunha Residencia Universitaria (Monte da Condesa) e a uns 2 kms da estación de tren. Varias liñas de autobuses urbáns teñen parada na nosa facultade.
